There are hundred of different seasonings that you can use for any number of different dishes, but what are the seasonings that you absolutely have to have on hand? 2. Balsamic vinegar – Balsamic vinegar is not a wine based vinegar like the vinegar that is commonly used to clean floors. This type of vinegar has a sweet and very rich flavor that makes it the perfect base for salad dressings and marinades when mixed with olive oil. You can make wonderful fresh herb salad dressings at a moment’s notice with just balsamic type of vinegar, olive seasoning oil and spices. Balsamic vinegar is also frequently used when making fresh sauces, in some types of desserts, and as a dressing for fruit to bring out the sweetness of the fruit.
